GET the Orion Race

Characters

MAKE AN ORION PIRATE CHARACTER!

Let’s you play as an Orion as seen from Star Trek. “GET (Game Enhancing Tweaks) the Orion Race” works with new or existing characters. Simply choose (9) as your skin tone when you create a new character or visit a plastic surgeon. Your character’s skin (face, body, legs, feet, arms, and hands) will turn the same hue of green.

HOW IT WORKS

“GET (Game Enhancing Tweaks) the Orion Race” replaces the darkest skin tone with the deep green hue of the Orion race.  When you create a new character and adjust the Skin Tone setting to (9), your character’s face, arms, hands, torso, and legs turn the same color green.

COLLABORATION WELCOME

So, I know how to create meshes with 3DS Max, but I really don’t have the time. If you’re itching to make some new races, I’d be willing to collaborate to make a mod with you. Just post a comment. Like, an Andorian with antennas would be awesome! Right

100% SUPPORT FOR THE VICTIMS OF UKRAINE

100% of the DP points for all of our mods go to support the Ukrainian families who are victims of Russia’s war against their country. Many thanks to Nexus for providing this opportunity to assist them

INFO FOR GEEKS

The DirectDraw Surface (.dds) texture files were edited using the free app Paint.net, which requires no plug-in to edit the files. For each skin tone, the hue, brightness, and saturation were adjusted. The circular text for the uploaded image was created using the free app Inkscape. Both apps are my go-to for working with images and word art

⚠️

KNOWN ISSUES

I haven’t confirmed it, but it appears that the mod will turn the bodies and hands of NPCs with the darkest brown skin tone blue while keeping their facial skin tone the original dark brown.  This shouldn’t be immersion-breaking, however, since few NPCs have such a dark brown skin tone. Those who do will most likely have their arms and legs covered by clothing so that only their hands will be blue, making it look like they’re wearing skin-tight green gloves.

DISABLING THE MOD

To disable the mod, rename or move the Texture folder added by the mod. Skin tones for your character will return to the game default.
